It seems to me that these nature spirits and ancient shamans were trying to send you and your friends a message about partying at a sacred location, and a lesson in respect. Combine that with the prewestern human sacrifices that were buried under those ruins/temples/heiau's. There are some really great books on haunted Hawaii out there also.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
