My New Book

My newest book, "Across a Corn-Swept Land: An epic beer run through the Upper Midwest," is now available.

OK, so it's not a book on the paranormal, it's a humorous travelogue about my trip from Missouri to Canada on a rural highway to find some really good beer. I do explore a 1960s UFO encounter near Long Prairie, Minnesota, in Chapter 8, so it's kinda paranormal. It's also lots of fun.

1) We've all heard of Black-Eyed Kids, those creepy, surprisingly lucid children who demand to be let into a person's home. In a semi-hypnotic haze, the homeowner almost lets them in ... almost.
